Sam Evans is hugely in demand as a singing teacher for students of all ages and abilities. He combines in his teaching his passion for expression and musical exploration, as well as his deep fascination with vocal pedagogy. He is regularly invited to teach for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and the renowned Eton Choral Courses, and has a busy private teaching practice in London. He has taught singing at Eton College, Latymer Upper School, Wellington College, Kingston Grammar School, and Westminster School. He teaches singing at Queen's College, Cambridge, and in September 2017 took up the position of Head of Vocal Studies at Highgate School in north London.

As an adjudicator for music competitions, he is much in demand for his warmth, humour and expertise, and has adjudicated competitions at numerous leading schools, including Repton School, Mill Hill School, Shrewsbury School, Bloxham School, Thomas's Prep School, Westminster Under School, Latymer Upper School and Trinity Boys School.

He is often asked to work with clients in the business sector, running energiser sessions for companies, and forming work place choirs. He is deeply committed to improving client wellbeing through singing, and runs weekly sessions for staff and volunteers at Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace.

“Sam Evans led a fantastic one hour workshop for us in London. The goal was to energise a team of 25 business people with many different European nationalities, further enhance the team spirit, and have fun. Sam managed to entice the group (very few of whom had any singing experience), and created a fun and upbeat atmosphere. Last but not least, we sang together for the first time, and had a really good time.”
